Music Committee Mission Statement
We, the Music Committee of Community Chapel, by the aid of the Holy Spirit and under the direct authority and standards set forth by our Pastors and Elders, strive for the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by providing a music ministry for our church services.
We trust that our music ministry consists of humble servants willing to share their musical gifts or special talents for the purpose of preparing hearts so that the work of the Holy Spirit may comfort, convict, and edify people.
We aim to encourage all ages of our congregation to develop the special talents God has given them and to build them up in the Christian faith, allowing for growth by eagerly sharing, as much as is feasible, all the music ministries of our church.
We engage that our committee will have regular meetings- to foster unity, communication, and fellowship among us; to plan monthly schedules of accompanists, special talent volunteers, and special services; to provide fertile ground for presentation of new ideas or changes; and, to make reccommendations to the Pastors and Elders as to approved music ministry proposals.
We will promote the worship of God by faithfully praying for His guidance and blessing of our music committee and our leadership in this very important ministry of the church.
Thank you to those who join with us in serving and praising God!
Thank you for your prayer support!
"Oh, Magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together."
Psalm 34:3
